This introductory-level, course introduces design professionals, building officials, and other Viewers to our growing understanding of earthquake risks in existing buildings, steps that can reduce seismic risks, and the importance of becoming more resilient.
The course format includes a 20-minute professionally produced video with expert interviews and case studies of seismic retrofit projects in Oregon and California, followed by a engaging discussion where panelists respond and expand on the examples and challenges presented in the video.
