Mercy Corps Headquarters in Portland, Oregon Among First to Receive USRC Ratings
The headquarters of a nonprofit devoted to helping disaster victims becomes more resilient itself. This four-story building was built in 1890 and seismically retrofitted in 2007. The building houses a non-profit with the mission of alleviating suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities.
